Ectron U.S. Sales Representative of the Year Award

San Diego, CA, July 30, 2008 – Ectron is proud to announce that Dave Wallace of Wallace Technical Sales was named the top U.S. Sales Representative of the fiscal year just ended on June 30, 2008.

Dave has been a vital contributor over the years in the Southwest region working first for Zeus and later on his own at Wallace Technical Sales. In the year just passed, Dave helped Ectron in winning some major contracts to supply Sandia National Laboratories in Albuquerque, NM with 100 channels of the Ectron Model 560H amplifier with enclosures, 10 channels of the Model 765 Programmable Signal Conditioning Transducer Amplifiers and rack, and some custom products as well. His awards with the various divisions totaled over $260,000 in fiscal year sales.

In recognition of his stellar achievement, Dave received an engraved plaque and a generous gift certificate from E. Earl Cunningham, President, Founder and CEO of Ectron Corporation. When conferring the award, Earl noted that Dave is “one of the true sales pros we have working to increase Ectron’s market share in the Southwest. His tireless dedication to service major accounts like Sandia Labs has assured him of major sales success. And his diligent business development efforts at Honeywell in Phoenix and at NREL in Colorado will also yield big dividends when the sales come to fruition. We are extremely pleased and fortunate to have him on our sales team.”

Upon receiving his awards, Dave remarked that “it really comes down to good hard work that eventually pays off. I had a great year with Ectron especially.” Dave also added “I enjoy working with Ectron because their products are top quality, and their commitment to excellence in design and customer service assure many more years of major awards at places like Sandia or Honeywell. I am proud to represent their lines.”

Ectron designs, manufactures, and services a full line of high-performance test and measurement products including Instrumentation Amplifiers, Overspeed Monitors, LVDT Signal Conditioners, and Thermocouple Simulator-Calibrator products in Kearney Mesa, CA. The company was founded 40 years ago, and is profitable and privately held.
