Ectron Employees Celebrate Anniversaries
San Diego, CA, August 1, 2007 – Ectron proudly
announces anniversaries of some key personnel this past quarter. Robert
“Howie” Clark, Diane Miller, Jonathan Jacob, Amy Cunningham,
and Michael Fontes all reached employment milestones recently, and the
company celebrated with an all-hands company meeting, awards ceremony, and
reception with cake and punch.
Robert “Howie” Clark, VP of Operations, has been with the
company for over 33 years. Howie began in Product Test, became the QA Manager,
and two years ago was promoted to Vice President of Operations. In this
role Howie manages Material, Production, QA, and Shipping/Receiving areas.
Of his Ectron experience, Howie most enjoys the camaraderie of his staff
associates. He and his team have been vital contributors to Ectron’s
success over this time. He has a BS in Business from San Diego State University.
When not contributing to Ectron, Howie and his wife Sue are avid golfers.
Diane Miller, Sales and Marketing Assistant, has been with the company for
25 years and has also served an important role in helping the company achieve
tremendous sales growth. In this time Ectron has had many great product milestones
like the introductions of the 428, 563, and 778 dc differential amplifiers.
Diane loves the flexibility of Ectron in assisting her to balance her job with
her strong commitment to family and community activities. When not at Ectron
Diane balances her time with family and volunteering in the community on several
boards as in Middle School Foundation, High School PTSA Membership Chair, BSA
Committee Member, and various fundraising efforts for non-profit organizations.
Jonathan Jacob, CAD/CAM/CAE Engineering, has also been with Ectron for 25
years and has been the principal mechanical designer of nearly all Ectron products.
His favorite design combination was the 441 Frequency to Voltage Converter and
the 408-6 Channel enclosure for the 400 series devices. Jonathan really likes
the family atmosphere of Ectron as evidenced by his long tenure here. Jonathan
is a native Californian and is dedicated to caring for his family in Encinitas.
In his spare time, he is an avid gardener and often shares the produce with his
co-workers.
Amy Cunningham, Marketing Assistant, graduated from UCSD with honors, and then
joined Ectron over a year ago. She is the principal caretaker of the company’s
many marketing initiatives from broadcast electronic mailings, to show planning,
and managing the new web site. In her brief tenure, Amy has made a positive and
enduring difference for the company. Amy has studied linguistics, and recently
completed a course in French at the University of Grenoble.
Michael Fontes, Sales and Marketing Manager, recently joined the company,
and celebrated his first anniversary of employment here. Michael helped lead
Ectron into a profitable fiscal year just ended, and claims this is just the
beginning. He balances his Ectron duties which include frequent travel with
an active family life.
Upon this festive occasion, CEO and company founder Earl Cunningham marveled
at the contributions of each member of his Ectron team, and noted, “We have
built a profitable company through the hard work and dedication of every member
here. We are both grateful and proud to have these fine employees.”
Ectron designs, manufactures, and services a full line of high-performance
test and measurement products including Instrumentation Amplifiers, Overspeed
Monitors, LVDT Signal Conditioners, and Thermocouple Simulator-Calibrator products
in Kearney Mesa, CA. The company was founded 40 years ago, and is profitable and
privately held.
