Ectron International Sales Representative of the Year Award

San Diego, CA, June 30, 2007 – Ectron is proud to announce that Mr. S. Raviprakash of Pyrodynamics was named the top International Sales Representative of the fiscal year just ended on June 30, 2007.

In recognition of his stellar achievement, “Ravi” received an engraved plaque and a generous gift certificate from E. Earl Cunningham, President, Founder and CEO of Ectron Corporation at a dinner banquet in his honor in San Diego, CA. When conferring the award, Earl noted that “Ravi is without question the best sales professional we have working to increase Ectron’s market share in India. His energy is boundless and his knowledge of the Indian business culture is extensive. He has built a legacy of successful design wins with customers throughout the country. We are truly blessed to have been in such a successful long-term business relationship with him.”

Ravi has been a vital contributor over the years to both government and private sector customers in India. His major awards this past sales year were to Hindustan Aeronautics and the Indian Institute of Technology. At Hindustan, Ravi sold numerous in-flight amplifiers for a helicopter flight safety application using Ectron’s Model 416 ruggedized amplifiers with integral excitation supply. At the Indian Institute of Technology, Ravi was successful in placing several Model 778 wideband transducer conditioner-amplifiers in a Hopkinson’s Bar application used in materials research.

Ravi’s comments upon receiving this prestigious award were simply that “Ectron has been a tremendous technology partner for my business development in India. I wish all my suppliers had such technically reliable products and first-rate technical support group to help advance my electronic sales in India. I would recommend this line to any International firm looking for reliable, technologically advanced and competitively priced products abroad.”

At the end of the evening’s proceedings, Earl closed the program thanking Ravi for his many years of excellent sales expansion efforts for Ectron and remarking that “We are very fortunate and thankful for the professionalism and high personal industry of Mr. S. Raviprakash on Ectron’s behalf.”
