Ectron U.S. Sales Representative of the Year Award
San Diego, CA, June 30, 2007 – Ectron is proud
to announce that Marshal “Lucky” Balin of Sector Engineering
Sales was named the top U.S. Sales Representative of the fiscal year just
ended on June 30, 2007.
“Lucky” has been a vital contributor over the years to
Sector Engineering Sales’ Minnesota branch, and led Sector’s
sales of Ectron products this past fiscal year with two major customer
awards. Lucky sold BAE Systems/United Defense 36 channels of the Model
751ELN amplifiers with racks. He also was successful with Aero Systems
Engineering which purchased 16 channels and racks of Ectron’s Model
441A Frequency-to-Voltage Converters.
Both customers are in the aerospace/defense industries and do primary
research for the U.S. Armed Forces. Lucky has been selling in these
channels for many years dating back to his early sales career in Southern
California. He has been in Minnesota for the last ten years and has been
one of the most productive salesmen for Sector Engineering Sales.
In recognition of his stellar achievement, Lucky received an engraved
plaque and a generous gift certificate from E. Earl Cunningham, President,
Founder and CEO of Ectron Corporation. When conferring the award, Earl
noted that “Lucky is one of the true sales pros we have working to
increase Ectron’s market share in the U.S. His tireless dedication
to both these customers and his diligent business development efforts
really paid huge dividends for him this past year. We are extremely
pleased and fortunate to have him on our sales team.”
Speaking for Sector Engineering Sales, President Ralph Sikich commented,
“Lucky had a great year with Ectron products and a terrific year all
around. He is consistently one of our top salesmen. We are fortunate to
have him on the Sector team.”
Lucky was both gracious and humble in receiving this notable recognition
and only commented briefly, “It was a great year for me in Ectron
products. I hope I can continue with great sales of this line every year.
At least that’s my immediate goal for this next year.”
Ectron designs, manufactures, and services a full line of high-performance
test and measurement products including Instrumentation Amplifiers, Overspeed
Monitors, LVDT Signal Conditioners, and Thermocouple Simulator-Calibrator
products in Kearny Mesa, CA. The company was founded 40 years ago, and
is profitable and privately held.
