Ectron Appoints Michael M. Fontes,
Sales and Marketing Manager

San Diego, CA, June 27, 2006 – Ectron proudly announces the appointment of Michael M. Fontes into the position of Sales and  Marketing Manager. A veteran in sales and marketing with over 15 years in the high technology electronics markets, Michael brings a valuable outlook and extensive technical expertise to Ectron’s growing management team.

Having worked for both Sony and Aiwa Corporations, Fontes most recently held the position of Military Sales Manager for Enerdyne Technologies, making his technical selling background and marketing experience particularly compatible for Ectron’s portfolio of scientific instrument products and technologies. Other notable accomplishments in Fontes’ work history include domestic and international management experience of OEM, system integrator and distributor channels marketing high technology electronic products.  Michael speaks Japanese, German, and some Spanish.

With a degree in Political Science and Oriental Languages from Columbia University, Mr. Fontes also graduated from the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College with a degree in Systems Management. As a former military commander, he possesses a keen sense of dedication to the mission and excellent teamwork in strategy execution.

Michael M. Fontes will be a vital contributor in managing Ectron’s domestic and international manufacturer’s representative sales force, and will provide a key interface to Ectron’s entire global customer base.  “I am delighted to be here,” he adds. “And I look forward to developing enduring relationships with our worldwide team of customers.”
